Groom and Bride walking down aisle together at Pendrell Hall by recommended documentary wedding photographer Clive Blair Photography

Every so often I get asked to submit weddings to be featured in Your West Midlands Wedding magazine and each time I get a sense of anticipation thinking: “Will I be chosen again as a featured wedding photographer?” Well, I’m happy to say if you head to the newsagents or online you’ll see another of my weddings from a recent summer wedding has been chosen for their April/May 2017 issue!

The wedding they chose to feature was from Hayley and Dan who got married at the beautiful Pendrell Hall. Not only is Pendrell Hall kind enough to recommend as one of their preferred suppliers, the beautiful summer’s day matched this summery “Mellow Yellow” wedding perfectly, as all the gurests were able to loung around in the garden area under the trees in the lovely dappled light.

When you look through their listed suppliers below you’ll notice “Dog Accessories”. To understand that unusual supplier listed, you’ll have to see who paid a special visit for their wedding in their blog post.

There’s not much more to say that hasn’t already been said about this wedding in their post here. So I’ll just leave the Your West Midlands Wedding magazine feature below for you to enjoy.

What Is a Documentary Wedding Photographer?

This is an often asked question. In simple terms it means being an observer and recorder of your wedding, with little interference. If you’re familiar with Star Trek, think of it in terms of The Temporal Prime Directive: To visit, to watch, not to interfer and to bring back a record.
