I love it when a couple write a thank-you note to express their appreciation for what I do. I love it even more when what they write acknowledges and appreciates my documentary wedding photography style of coverage. Rob and Emily wanted a truly relaxed wedding day at Curradine Barns without too much fuss over the formal groups, rather preferring to have a casual, documentary style of coverage. In their words I was like a “ninja” recording their day without getting in the way.

“Dear Clive

Thank-you so much for all the care and attention, along with your ninja photographic skill during our wedding day. You have taken some truly wonderful pictures that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

Emily and Rob”

For me that’s the greatest accolade or praise anyone can give me. Job Done!! 😀

What Is a Documentary Wedding Photographer?

This is an often asked question. In simple terms it means being an observer and recorder of your wedding, with little interference. If you’re familiar with Star Trek, think of it in terms of The Temporal Prime Directive: To visit, to watch, not to interfer and to bring back a record.
