Latest Coronavirus Information

To my lovely couples with weddings coming up in the next few months.

Updated: 23rd March 2020

In the light of the latest govt ban on movement and restrictions on the number of people who can meet for a wedding, I’m asking you all to strongly consider postponing your wedding for at least the next couple of months. After the ban has been lifted you’ll be able to enjoy the company of all your family and friends on your special day.

What happens to your money already paid? Do you need to re-book and pay another fee to secure a new date? There’ll be no re-booking fee normally required. Under our unique circumstances, I’m more than happy to simply reschedule your booking to another date, assuming I’m available, and transfer all monies paid to your new date. All I ask is for you to liaise with me along the way to choose a mutually acceptable date. To help I’ll share beforehand with you all my available dates.

We’re all in this together, so let’s pull together to get through this difficult time.

I look forward to working with you both in the near future. I appreciate you postponing and not cancelling. Let’s plan for what will surely be a great wedding.

I understand that this may be a difficult and stressful time for you with the current coronavirus situation. But I wanted to send a message to you all to reassure you of what my situation is in regard to your wedding photography.

I fully intend to honour all photographic commitments I have, which includes your wedding. I appreciate your wedding might be affected somewhat, maybe even with reduced numbers of guests, but I can promise you I will work the absolute hardest I possibly can, to get the very best photos for you to treasure forever. I have no intention to cancel or limit my involvement and commitment to any wedding I have booked in.

Naturally, I will be taking all necessary precautions following government guidelines and from the World Health Organisation. This includes the requirement for self-isolation if I develop symptoms.

In the unlikely event that following these guidelines I’m unable to attend your wedding, I have put the following procedure in place. I’m in a few private Facebook groups of some of the very best local wedding photographers from across the region, who have agreed to help and support each other if required. They are some of the region’s best photographers, each shooting in a similar style to myself. If I’m unable to attend, then one of these photographers would shoot on my behalf. This is actually not much different to what I already have in place, but as a group we are more motivated than ever to support each other and the wedding couples involved.

I’m super excited to be part of your day and have every intention to enjoy your day with you and provide lasting photographic memories of your big day.

Please keep in touch, ask any questions you like, or even give me a call if you wish anytime.

I look forward to working with you soon.
