Last Saturday I had a wedding at The Moat House in Acton Trussell during the tail-end of Hurricain Frank. Winter weddings always have their challenges, so was I worried about this extra element?? I must admit I was a little bit, as I love to go outside to take photos of the Bride and Groom, especially at night for some back-light photos. But would the weather play ball today? Well, rather than wait on the weather, I decided to use the weather to my advantage. I found this gorgeous lit up tree at The Moat House, and this is the result. I hope you like it as much as I do!

What Is a Documentary Wedding Photographer?

This is an often asked question. In simple terms it means being an observer and recorder of your wedding, with little interference. If you’re familiar with Star Trek, think of it in terms of The Temporal Prime Directive: To visit, to watch, not to interfer and to bring back a record.
