How You Met: In the lecture theatre at University, Sonia caught David’s eye as the girl in the big red coat!
How He Proposed: At dusk, in a beautiful tropical garden by the sea on the last night of our holiday in Cambodia
WEDDING
The Bride Wore: An ivory princess style dress with a satin bodice, an organza skirt with a train, and a big ivory bow.
The Groom Wore: A classic morning suit…accessorised with a lilac tie and cuff links from Duchamp…most dashing…
Jewellery/Accessories: For Sonia: a diamante tiara and earrings; an elbow length veil scattered with Swarovski crystals; shoes from Rainbow Club; and my something borrowed was a garter from one of my Bridemaids!

RECEPTION

Colours: Lilac, sage green, dusky pink and cream
Decor Elements: Glass lanterns and candles to light up the evening
Unique Details: Tables named after Manchester United legends, and a couple of firkins of Burton Bridge Bitter (Sonia’s family’s favourite, and a local speciality).
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT
Sonia’s Answer: So many special moments, but the best was seeing David standing at the end of the aisle waiting for me… and then trying very very hard not to cry with happiness
David’s Answer: Watching Sonia glide down the aisle wearing a huge grin
HONEYMOON
Place: Safari in the Selous Game Reserve, Southern Tanazania, followed by relaxing on the beach in Zanzibar.
